Congratulations to three former Richmount Primary pupils, from left, Jill Cochrane, Thomas Murray
and Claire Neill who have all graduated with degrees in medicine from Queen's University, Belfast.

Three former pupils of Richmount Primary School have graduated as doctors from Queen's University. It's a great achievement for Richmount and all three have already secured jobs in local hospitals. The successful trio attended Richmount in the 1990s and went on to Portadown College. At this week's ceremony at Queen's they were among six former College pupils who graduated as doctors. Both Claire and Jill will take up their posts in Craigavon Hospital at the beginning of August and Thomas will take up his post in Antrim Hospital. Their teachers, families and friends are proud of all the hard work the three students have put in over many years. Former principal of Richmount, Mr Andy Gray, taught all three pupils during his time as a teaching principal there. He said, "It's absolutely wonderful to have three pupils qualifying as doctors. It is a source of great pride and encouragement for such a small school."
